The McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle is an American single-seat twin-engine fighter intended for the fight for air superiority. The C version is the single-seat form with a roomy canopy under which practically the whole cockpit is visible. In 1:32 scale the cockpit is so large that the finished model will give away every panel left bare and every surface colored in a single shade.
Colored three-dimensional interior elements with a raised surface, so that the instruments, the controls and the labels have real relief. The elements are printed on carrier decal paper: the part is cut out of the sheet, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own; a gloss coat holds it. The package additionally contains printed resin parts. Those differ in the procedure: the remains of the print supports are separated from them, the area left behind is sanded down and they are bonded with super glue.
For builders in the large scale who want the cockpit finished in colors without painting the small dials with a brush. Fitting them is careful rather than demanding work; tweezers, a sharp blade and plenty of time come in useful.
The package contains only the elements listed. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
