Eduard 1:32 F-15E - painting masks are die-cut self-adhesive masks for the canopy glazing for models of the F-15E strike fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks in kabuki paper from the Czech company Eduard makes painting the frames of the large canopy glazing of the model of the F-15E strike fighter in 1:32 scale easier. A big canopy in this scale makes higher demands on the accuracy of masking, and ready-made masks speed the work up considerably.
Kabuki paper follows even the curved surfaces of a large canopy, holds well and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off. Sets of this kind usually cover the frames of the canopy glazing; many sets also include masks for the wheel hubs. The remaining transparent areas are filled in with tape or with liquid mask.
Clean and degrease the glazing. Lift the masks with tweezers and seat them exactly in the frames. Apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush so that it does not seep under the edge. Peel the mask off while the finish is still fresh.
