Eduard 1:32 F-16CJ masks is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for masking the glazing and wheels of a model of the American fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for clean painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks in Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the F-16 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit or a finished model but an accessory that makes masking for spraying easier and more accurate.
The masks are stuck onto the frame of the large bubble canopy and onto the wheel rims, so that after spraying the glass stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape conforms well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The canopy frames therefore come out sharp and straight without cutting tape by hand.
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multi-role fighter with its characteristic frameless bubble canopy and a side air intake. The F-16C version is the single-seat updated variant flown by the US Air Force and its allies. The CJ designation goes with the blocks meant, among other things, for the suppression of enemy air defenses.
The set contains only the cut-out masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
