A photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:32 scale for refining the interior, the cockpit, of the American F/A-18C Hornet fighter. It is not an aircraft model but a set of fine metal parts that the modeler builds into a plastic kit.
Photo-etch gives the cockpit fine instrument panels, side consoles, levers and other small features that bare plastic cannot manage at the right delicacy. In the large 1:32 scale the interior is clearly visible, so the detail is worth the effort.
The parts printed in color only need to be stuck down accurately; degrease the bare ones and paint them. Cut them off at the fret, shape the bends over a bending tool and glue with super glue.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
