A photo-etched set from Eduard meant for detailing the cabin interior of the two-seat F/A-18D Hornet fighter in 1:32 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory, which replaces and supplements the plastic parts of a model with fine metal features. It is not an airplane kit. Eduard is a Czech maker from Obrnice near Most.
The set refines the stations of the pilot as well as the operator: the instrument panels, the side consoles, the displays, the levers and the small plates. The pre-printed parts usually come ready for immediate use, while the rest are painted. The result is a credible modern cabin.
Separate the small parts with a sharp blade and make the bends precisely in a bending tool. Use super glue for gluing metal to plastic. Paint the unprinted features in the matching colors. Try a dry fit before gluing.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
