Eduard 1:32 F-35A Lightning II seatbelts STEEL are photo-etched steel seat belts for the cockpit of an F-35A model in 1:32 scale. They are supplied pre-painted and are fitted into a separately purchased kit.

The set contains the seat belts for the seat. The material is given directly in the name: against softer brass photo-etching, steel holds the shape of a bend, so the belts can be waved to look like straps lying loosely over the seat and do not spring back flat. The range the set belongs to is supplied pre-painted. This item does not replace a full photo-etched interior set; it complements one.
The Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II is a single-seat, single-engine combat aircraft with conventional takeoff and landing. The cockpit is covered by a one-piece canopy and enough of it remains visible once the model is finished, especially in the large 1:32 scale, where the seat is the dominant element of the interior. That is exactly why detail on the belts pays off.
Steel belts are stiffer than brass ones, so bend them gradually and rather in two stages. You create a natural sag by drawing the belt over a round object, for example over the body of a scalpel. Do not paint over the pre-painted surface. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue in a minimal amount applied with a pin, and it is a good idea to seat the belts before you close the cockpit up.
