The miniature plates and placards match the labels on the real aircraft. In the large 1:32 scale they give a model fidelity and break up the empty areas that would otherwise look lifeless.
They usually come as colored self-adhesive photo-etched parts. Separate the pieces carefully with tweezers, place them where they belong and press them down gently. When arranging them, go by period documentation of the aircraft.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
