Precise turned metal barrels for the carrier-based Grumman F6F Hellcat fighter in the night fighter build, in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the plastic armament parts with faithful metal barrels with a clean round bore.
It contains the covered barrels of the Browning machine guns of 12.7 mm caliber and the tips of the 20 mm cannons fitted with flash hiders, as was typical of the night fighter versions. The metal parts raise the realism of the wings and are tougher than thin plastic barrels. Fitting consists of cutting off the plastic parts and gluing the metal pieces in with cyanoacrylate.
