The Eduard Fokker Dr. I 1:32 photo-etched detail set is for refining a model of the German triplane of the First World War. An accessory from a Czech maker, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from Eduard meant for detailing a model of the Fokker Dr. I, the famous German fighter triplane of the First World War, in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an aftermarket accessory, which gives a model the fine metal features that injection-molded plastic cannot reach. Eduard is a Czech maker from Obrnice near Most.
The Fokker Dr. I was an agile triplane made famous by the aces of the German air service at the close of the First World War. It excelled in rate of climb and maneuverability, though at the cost of lower speed. Its characteristic silhouette with three lifting surfaces is among the best known of any aircraft of its era.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade and make the bends precisely and gently. Glue the metal features with super glue. Paint the unprinted parts in the matching colors; the pre-printed features can be fitted directly. On period aircraft, patient work with the small details of the interior as well as the outside pays off.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
