The Quinta Studio 1:32 interior 3D decal for the Fokker D.VII brings colored raised cockpit detail of the German First World War fighter on decal backing paper, applied by the wet method.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio upgrades the open cockpit of the famous German fighter of the closing stage of the First World War. The details are printed on decal backing paper, they have real depth and color and they are applied by the wet method, with no photo-etching and no painting.
The Fokker D.VII was one of the best German fighters of the First World War, valued for its good handling at high altitude and its easy flying. It was built in the closing months of 1918 and became a byword among the biplanes of its day. The open cockpit makes the interior a striking feature of the model.
Cut the part out of the sheet, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 kind; on broken surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. In the larger 1:32 scale and with an open cockpit the detail stands out especially well.
This is an aftermarket accessory (a 3D decal), not a kit. The model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
