A color 3D decal with relief for a detailed rendering of the cockpit interior of the German Fw 190A-4 fighter in 1:32 scale. The set is intended for the Zoukei-Mura plastic kit from the SWS range. It is not a model or a part of one, but a color decal detail that replaces the laborious painting of the instruments and photo-etched interior sets.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German fighter of the Second World War with the BMW 801 radial engine. The A-4 version was one of the early production standards and stood out for its rugged structure, heavy armament and good agility. The Fw 190 was one of the most feared opponents of the Allied fighters.
The decal with relief carries the color instrument panels, the side panels and the details of the cockpit. It is applied like a wet decal: the part is released from the backing paper with a brief dip in lukewarm water, slid into place and left to dry. Unlike with a classic decal, no decal softener is used here, as it would attack the printed resin. That removes the need to paint the small elements and to fold photo-etched parts.
This is an accessory for the kit named above, not a standalone model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
