The resin figure depicts a German member of the ground crew (a mechanic) of the First World War period in 1:32 scale. The set from Copper State Models is supplied as a resin kit for experienced modelers and is intended to liven up period aviation scenes with biplanes.
The ground crews looked after the technical condition of the aircraft: they checked the engines, topped up the fuel and made the machines ready for takeoff. They were an indispensable part of every flying unit. The figure captures a mechanic in working dress and in a natural stance while servicing an aircraft.
Wash the parts to remove the release agent, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. We recommend a base coat, shading of the tones of the uniform and fine washes on the folds of the cloth and the leather details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
