A photo-etched set of seat belts in brass sheet for faithfully equipping the cockpit of the Hawk T1 Mk.53 jet trainer in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model or a kit, but a small add-on accessory for the seat, supplied in a pre-printed color form.
The set replaces simplified plastic belts with faithful pre-colored photo-etched belts, buckles and fittings for the ejection seat. Belts are among the most noticeable details of a modern cockpit, so a faithful rendering will visibly raise the realism of a build. The color printing makes finishing easier without laborious painting.
The parts are separated with a sharp blade or shears for etching, bent carefully into a natural shape and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The pre-printed surfaces are only placed and fixed.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
