The package combines injection-molded plastic with resin and photo-etched parts and offers a decal sheet with several marking options. The combination of materials and the large scale make the model a rewarding but more demanding project for more experienced builders.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter, one of the key types of the Battle of Britain. The Mk.IIb version received a more powerful Merlin engine and strengthened armament with twelve machine guns in the wings, thanks to which it also found use in the fighter-bomber role.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and cut the casting blocks away, glue them with cyanoacrylate and protect your airways when sanding. Bend the photo-etched parts over a sharp edge. In the large scale the transitions between colors, the panel lines and the subsequent patina all come out well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
