The kit from FLY captures the British Hawker Hurricane fighter in the Mk.IId version, that is in the anti-tank form, in 1:32 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model completed with a combination of detail parts, which builders of large scales will appreciate. Take the exact contents of the package and the number of marking options from the instructions enclosed.
The Hawker Hurricane was, along with the Spitfire, one of the mainstays of British fighter defense in the Second World War. The Mk.IId version was a specialized anti-tank and attack modification, under whose wings a pair of large-caliber 40 mm cannons was carried for destroying ground targets and lightly armored equipment. These machines were used above all in North Africa and on other fronts in attacks on columns and armored vehicles. The Hurricane's design was based on a fuselage with a tube frame covered with fabric, which made it a rugged and easily repaired airplane.
Glue the parts with a thin plastic cement and clean the fuselage and wing joints up carefully. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal for even covering coats. On desert schemes a patina of dust and fading of the upper surfaces comes out well. Give the underwing cannons and their mounting increased attention, as they are the characteristic feature of this version.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
