Montex 1:32 Hurricane Mk.I is a set of self-adhesive painting masks, not a kit. The masks match the glazing of the Fly or Pacific Coast Models kits.

A masking set in 1:32 scale for modelers who are building a Hurricane Mk.I and want the canopy frames sprayed rather than painted in with a brush. The package holds self-adhesive masks only, no modeling parts. The cut is based on the clear parts of the Fly or Pacific Coast Models kits, so use the set with exactly those.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British fighter whose fuselage was built around a tubular framework; the forward section was covered with sheet metal, the rear originally with fabric. Power came from a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and the armament consisted of 7.7 mm machine guns in the wings. Parts that affect masking changed during production as well, namely the shape of the canopy and the glazing behind the headrest. Mk.I machines also differed in their wings, the fabric-covered ones being replaced over time by all-metal units.
The most common trouble when masking glazing is not an inaccurate cut but paint seeping under the edge of a mask by capillary action. The effective safeguard is simple: once the masks are down, spray the edge with a thin coat of clear varnish or of the interior shade. Any gap is filled by that very coat and the main color can no longer get underneath. Hold the airbrush square to the surface, not at a shallow angle to the edge of a mask, and keep the air pressure on the lower side.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
