Eduard Ju 88A-4 1:32 is a set of painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard for accurate masking of the extensive glazing and the clear parts of a model of the German Junkers Ju 88A-4 bomber in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:32 scale for the German Junkers Ju 88A-4 bomber. The masks in a fine masking material (kabuki paper) follow the shape of the frames of the extensively glazed nose and cockpit exactly. They are stuck onto the model, sprayed over with paint and taken off once dry, so that the frames stay cleanly bounded. This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a model in its own right: the kit has to be obtained separately.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a German twin-engined multirole aircraft of the Second World War, used as a bomber, a dive bomber and a night fighter. It was powered by Junkers Jumo 211 engines. The A-4 version was among the most widely used bombing forms and was notable for the heavily glazed nose of the cockpit, where most of the crew sat. It is precisely that extensive glazing that makes masking the frames a laborious part of a build.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model of the aircraft. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
