Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the American brand Furball Aero-Design focused on low-visibility markings for Douglas A-4 Skyhawk aircraft. The name lists the versions OA-4T, TA-4J, A-4M, A-4F and A-4E, so the sheet is aimed at this part of the family. It is an accessory for a model; a kit is not included in the package, and which particular machines are on the sheet cannot be read from the name.
The A-4 Skyhawk was designed to be the smallest and lightest possible carrier attack aircraft. It succeeded so far that its delta wing did not have to fold, which saved both weight and complexity. Because of its small size and nimbleness it earned the nickname Scooter. The versions differed mainly in the engine, the equipment in the hump behind the cockpit and the two-seat layout on the trainers. Low-visibility finishes in shades of gray replaced the earlier contrasting white and gray schemes in the 1980s, and on them the national insignia and the legends are printed subdued, so that they blend into the surface.
Gray insignia on a gray surface have little contrast, so mark the position out beforehand with pencil or masking tape so that you place them exactly. Prepare a gloss surface under the decal and once it is dry unify the model with matte varnish, otherwise the sheen of the film would give the subdued insignia away. Do not rush the sliding; thin gray features tear easily.
