Eduard 1:32 Lockheed F-35C TFace is a set of self-adhesive masks for the outer as well as the inner side of the glazing of a model of the carrier version of the F-35. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit.

A masking set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale for a model of the carrier variant of the F-35. The TFace designation means that the sheet holds masks not only for the outer side of the glazing but for the inner side as well. You can therefore paint the cockpit frames in the interior shade from the inside and in the exterior camouflage shade from the outside — it is precisely this detail that decides how the cockpit looks when seen from above. The set is an accessory for a kit; the model, paints and glue are not in the package.
The F-35C is the carrier version of the single-engined Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II aircraft, adapted to operation from aircraft carriers. Compared with the land-based variant it has a larger lifting area with folding wingtips, strengthened landing gear and an arrestor hook. The larger wing improves behavior at low speeds during the approach to the deck and increases range. The cockpit glazing with its prominent framing is a dominant element of a model in the large 1:32 scale.
Wash and degrease the glazing, otherwise the mask will not hold. Stick the inner masks on first and spray the interior shade of the frames; only then do the outer parts and the top color come in turn. Always press the edges down carefully with a toothpick — paint creeping underneath arises almost exclusively under an edge that is not fully stuck down. Complete the areas between the frames with masking tape or with liquid mask. Spray in thin layers and take the mask off as soon as the paint has gone touch-dry, pulling at a sharp angle, ideally lifted with the tip of a scalpel.
