1:32 Macchi C.202 LööKplus is a bundle of accessories from the Czech firm Eduard for a model of the Italian Macchi C.202 Folgore fighter in 1:32 scale, built around the finished LööK instrument panel.

This is not a model of an aircraft but a bundle of accessories. LööK is Eduard's finished instrument panel, which it is enough to seat in the pilot's space in place of the part from the box: that does away with the most laborious and most delicate part of detailing the cockpit. LööKplus is an extended bundle, which joins LööK with further accessories by the same manufacturer for the same type in a single item. The particular make-up of the package is given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
The Macchi C.202 Folgore was the most successful Italian fighter of the Second World War. It came about by reworking the previous design with a radial engine for a vee, supercharged Daimler-Benz DB 601, which was built in Italy under license: thanks to it the performance of the machine matched that of its contemporary opponents, unlike its predecessors. The aircraft first lifted off the ground in 1940 and went into the fighting from 1941 over North Africa, Malta and on the Eastern Front. What stayed with it, however, was a weaker armament built above all on a pair of heavy machine guns over the engine, which put it at a disadvantage against well armored targets. What is characteristic of the Folgore is the slender nose and the asymmetric wings.
The accessories are fitted into a model of the Folgore in 1:32 scale that you already have. The finished instrument panel is most visible through an open canopy, so it pays to consider whether you will build the model with the canopy slid back: otherwise most of the work will disappear inside. Try the parts dry first and plan the order of the work, because the cockpit has to be finished before the fuselage is closed over. The large 1:32 scale is a rewarding one for this kind of accessory, because the detail stays legible even from a distance in a display case.
