A set of kabuki masks from New Ware for the Bachem Ba 349 Natter in 1:32 scale. Washi masks for the glazing and other surfaces. It is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a model but a set of self-adhesive masking masks from New Ware for a plastic kit of the German rocket fighter Bachem Ba 349 Natter in 1:32 scale. The masks are cut from Japanese washi (kabuki) masking paper, leave a sharp boundary of color and serve to mask the cockpit glazing and other surfaces during spraying.
The Bachem Ba 349 Natter was a German rocket interceptor of the end of the Second World War, designed for a vertical launch and a single combat sortie against bomber formations. The fuselage was largely wooden and the aircraft was not meant to be used again after a sortie. Only a small number were built and its single manned launch ended in a crash, so it ranks among the most experimental machines of its day.
For modelers building the Bachem Ba 349 Natter in 1:32 scale who want to spray the cockpit frames and other surfaces cleanly without slow masking with tape.
A supplementary set of masks, not a model on its own. The kit and the paints are not included in the package.
