A detail set from the SPACE line by the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory for the cockpit of a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun touring aircraft. The set combines colored 3D decals with raised relief (the instrument panel, the side consoles and further elements of the cabin) with photo-etched parts in steel, typically the seat belts. The result is a fully colored interior with a sense of depth and no need to paint the dials and straps by hand.
The Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun was a German all-metal touring and liaison aircraft of the 1930s with an enclosed cabin and retractable landing gear. In its design it foreshadowed the later Bf 109 fighter, and after the war it was also built in France.
The colored 3D decals are thicker than ordinary ones and do not take softeners; they are transferred onto a well dried glossy base and fixed with thin PVA glue. The steel belts are springy and hold their shape well; they are bonded with super glue. Finish the interior before you close the fuselage up.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
