A pre-painted photo-etched set from Eduard containing a detailed instrument panel for a model of the Soviet MiG-15 jet fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model, but a focused cockpit accessory.
The layered etched panel replaces the simplified plastic part from an ordinary kit with a faithful combination of dials and bezels. The colors are fired directly onto the metal, so the panel needs no painting and looks three-dimensional and legible once assembled. In 1:32 scale the instrument panel is the dominant feature of the cockpit.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and align the individual layers exactly on top of each other; a drop of clear varnish on the dials creates the impression of glass faces. Bond with a small amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Tie the whole together with a final matte coat.
This is a detail accessory. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
