A decal sheet in 1:32 scale for a MiG-21F-13 model with the markings of a machine in the colors of the Israeli Air Force. It is the fourth part of a continuing series, so the individual sheets cover different operators of the same type. Which particular machines are covered and exactly where their markings belong is shown by the drawing enclosed by the manufacturer.
The MiG-21F-13 is an early production version of the Soviet fighter that in the West received the code name Fishbed. It has a slender fuselage with a circular air intake in the nose and a movable cone in the middle of it, a delta wing and a strikingly small cockpit. The armament consisted of a 30 mm cannon and a pair of short-range guided missiles on pylons under the wing. The Israeli Air Force did not take this type into its own service; it came into its colors as a captured machine.
In a large scale the markings are large and carry less easily, so allow for that. Varnish the area under the decal with a gloss clear coat, or a white haze will be left around the print. Cut the decal out close to the edge, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and let it stand until it will slide off the paper. Carry a large marking to its destination along with the paper and only slide it off there. Press the water out with a soft brush from the center outward, draw off the rest and finally varnish the surface again.
The model, paints, varnishes and a softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
