A colored 3D interior decal in 1:32 scale from the maker Quinta Studio. It is not a model — it is a set of three-dimensionally shaped colored decals which replace the instrument panel, the side panels and other items of the cockpit. The set is intended for the MiG-29 9-13 plastic kit from the Trumpeter brand.
The MiG-29 (in the NATO reporting name Fulcrum) was a Soviet twin-engine frontline fighter. The 9-13 variant (Fulcrum C) is recognized by the enlarged dorsal spine of the fuselage, which held more fuel and avionics. The machine was famous for its agility in maneuvering combat.
The individual elements are cut out, soaked briefly in lukewarm water and applied by the wet method onto the parts of the cockpit coated with a gloss clear. The decals are color-printed in advance, so painting and picking out the dials is unnecessary. Patient pressing with a damp brush makes it easier for them to settle into the recesses, and a decal softener or a decal fixer does not belong with these decals; at the end the interior is unified with a matte clear coat.
This is an interior accessory, not a kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included — the set serves to detail the corresponding kit.
