A set of photo-etched parts for a model of the P-40B aircraft in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The P-40B is an early version of the American Curtiss P-40 fighter of the start of the Second World War. You recognize the type by the prominent radiator under the nose and by the slim fuselage with its liquid-cooled engine. In the large 1:32 scale every detail of the cockpit and of the surface is visible on a model, and that is exactly where parts thinner than an injection mold can manage come in useful.
This is a set of photo-etched parts for a P-40B model in 1:32 scale, that is an accessory for a kit. Which particular features the set replaces and in what order they are fitted are given in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with it; those also tell you which parts of the kit have to be removed before fitting. The advantage of photo-etched parts lies in the thickness of the material: straps, grab handles, mesh and other thin features match the scale better than plastic.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not with pliers, which bend photo-etched metal. Make the bends along the engraved line, best over a straight edge or in a bending tool. They are bonded with super glue or two-part epoxy; cement for polystyrene does not hold on metal. Degrease the parts before painting and lay on a primer, or the coat will peel. Prepare the small features over a surface with a raised edge, so that a part that falls does not end up in the carpet.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
