Painting masks Eduard 1:32 for the P-47D-20 Thunderbolt for the canopy glazing and the wheels. This is not a model but an accessory for painting; the model itself is bought separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of shaped Eduard painting masks in 1:32 scale for a model of the American Republic P-47D Thunderbolt fighter in the D-20 sub-variant. The masks are cut from kabuki tape and mask the frames of the canopy glazing and usually the tires as well. This is an accessory for painting, not a kit; the aircraft model itself is not included and is bought separately.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was a massive American fighter of the Second World War with a radial engine and famous toughness. The D-20 sub-variant still belongs to the razorback configuration, that is with a framed canopy and a high rear fuselage spine, before the version with the bubble canopy arrived. The Thunderbolt served both as a fighter and for attacks on ground targets.
Transfer the masks onto degreased glazing and seat them carefully into the frames of the framed canopy. Spray the paint thinned, in thin coats, so that no thick edge builds up. Peel the masks off while the lacquer is still fresh; kabuki tape holds even on the slightly curved surfaces of the canopy.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
