The Panavia Tornado ECR Lego Bomber from the Tiger Meet has a set of stencils of its own in 1:32 for the whole colorful rectangular finish.
Responsibility details are not available.
In 1:32 the same pattern behaves quite differently from a small model. The fields are larger pieces of film, which are easier to grip and place precisely, but at the same time they cope less well with a transition over the bulged places of the airframe, where an edge likes to lift. The pair of sheets contains the pattern divided so that it can be laid in sections and the modeler does not have to handle one enormous part.
The Tornado ECR is the German specialization for suppressing air defenses. It carries a system for locating emitting radars and antiradiation missiles; a gun, by contrast, it lacks. It was precisely one of these aircraft that was given a colorful finish of rectangular fields for the 2010 Tiger Meet, which immediately reached the covers of aviation magazines and today is among the most frequently built special schemes of the type.
Large areas call for an even more uniform spray than smaller scales, because every unevenness is twice as noticeable. Before you start, check that the base is smooth and free of sanding dust. Lay the film from the middle of a part toward the edges and push the air bubbles out, as otherwise the paint will bleed under it. At the longer edges warm air from a hair dryer helps, after which the material conforms to the shape better. Remove it early and with a slanting pull.
