The fighter 1:32 PZL P.11c Polish Fighter with Pilot and Ground Crew Figures from IBG models is a large plastic kit completed with figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This release from the Polish manufacturer joins a large kit of the high-wing monoplane in 1:32 scale with figures that will create a scene around the aircraft. It is exactly the combination of the machine and people that makes the model a rewarding display whole: the sizeable cockpit and the exposed engine compartment have a sense of scale beside them to relate to.
The fighter was made famous by the high gull wing of the so-called Polish type, which opened up the pilot's view upward. The powerplant was a Bristol Mercury radial engine built in Poland under license. In the middle of the 1930s the type was among the best, but by September 1939 headlong development had overtaken it and its pilots then faced more modern opponents. Even so they chalked up victories, and the machine became a symbol of the Polish defense.
The struts and the bracing of the landing gear call for firm but inconspicuous joints, so glue in small stages and let every step set. The fabric surfaces of the control surfaces will keep their character if a faint oil cast is drawn over them along the ribs once they are painted. Finish the figures separately and join them to the aircraft only at the very end.
Neither a base for the scene nor paints belong to the box.
