On real aircraft, flags and safety pins with this lettering were hung on covers, weapons, probes and locking pins before flight. On a model they create the lively impression of a machine being serviced and add scale and a splash of color to a scene. The steel version is springy and holds the shape of a hanging flag faithfully.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and shape them with tweezers. Glue them spot by spot with super glue (cyanoacrylate). If they are not pre-printed, paint them a deep red and keep the lettering legible; fix the whole with a light matte varnish.
This is a detail accessory. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
