A sheet of decals in 1:32 scale with markings of the jet trainer aircraft that the Royal Canadian Air Force operates under the designation CT-155 Hawk. The contents of the package are a printed decal film with instructions for placement; the model, paints and glue are not part of it. Which particular machines the sheet covers is given by the manufacturer on the packaging and in the instructions.
The Hawk is a two-seat jet trainer aircraft with a secondary combat capability, which spread around the world as the standard type for advanced flying training. The Royal Canadian Air Force introduced it under the designation CT-155 within an international training program, where it serves in the phase of advanced jet training before the move on to combat types. Training machines usually carry a striking, clearly visible coloring and rich servicing lettering.
On a sheet of this kind there tend to be, besides the larger markings, small servicing lettering and stencils as well, and it is exactly these that decide the resulting impression. Work with sharp tweezers with fine jaws, soak the small decals one at a time and carry them to the place with a brush dampened in clean water. If you have hard water, use distilled water instead: limescale deposits leave matte stains on the gloss varnish once dry. Before you settle a decal, wet the area with a drop of water; once it is placed, soak the surplus carefully away with the corner of a paper towel and let it dry thoroughly.
A decal sheet is not a kit. It does not contain the model, paints or glue. The particular variants and the contents of the sheet are given on the packaging.
