A sheet with elements arranged in single radial rows, in 1:32 scale. The elements are transferred onto the surface of the model from the backing sheet.
Responsibility details are not available.
The name of the item says that the elements on the sheet are arranged in single radial rows, that is in lines running out from a center. Such an arrangement suits the circular assemblies that appear on models again and again. Which elements the sheet holds and which subject they are cut for are described in the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the sheet; the placing of the individual rows on the model follows them as well.
Before applying them, check in the manufacturer's instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive or meant to be soaked. The difference is fundamental: a self-adhesive element is not dipped in water, because water ruins it, whereas with a wet decal the backing paper will not release without soaking. The surface under the elements should be smooth, clean and degreased; on a matte varnish the edges of the carrier film will give themselves away, on a gloss one they disappear. Once dry, the result is coated with a varnish, which hides the transitions and protects the elements.
In a large scale a single row is clearly visible and stands up to a close look, so it needs all the more care in laying it. It pays to cut it into individual strips and seat each one separately, because on a large surface a straight line can easily be lined up against the surrounding shapes of the model. Work with tweezers with smooth jaws and move the elements with a moistened brush, not with your finger.
The sheet suits a modeler who keeps an eye on the surface detail of a large model and wants the job done more accurately and faster than by hand painting. The model, paints and varnish are not included, unless stated otherwise.
