These are painted photo-etched seatbelts of steel from the Czech maker Eduard, not a model. The set is intended for models of the Stearman PT-17/N2S-3 training biplane in 1:32 scale and replaces flat or missing belts with a faithful substitute.
Compared with brass, steel photo-etched belts are more pliable, so they drape naturally over the seat and look more realistic. The parts are pre-painted and self-adhesive, so they can be used at once, with no need for painting.
Separate the belts carefully from the fret, form them over an edge and seat them in the cockpit. With self-adhesive parts, pressure is enough; for a permanent joint a drop of cyanoacrylate glue can be added.
The model itself is not included in the package. The set serves as an accessory for the cockpit.
