A set of turned metal barrels in 1:32 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER for the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter with the C type wing. It contains barrels for the Hispano 20 mm cannons in fairings and is designed to fit the Tamiya kit. The metal build offers a sharper shape and muzzle than plastic parts.
The universal C wing of the Spitfire allowed various combinations of armament. The set replaces the plastic Hispano barrels with accurate metal parts and is prepared for the particular geometry of the Tamiya kit, which makes fitting easier without lengthy alterations and adjustments of the parts.
Cut the parts off their casting stubs and clean them up. Fit the metal barrels in place of the plastic parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Before painting, apply a base coat (primer) suitable for metal surfaces.
This is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory set of replacement barrels. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
