Eduard 1:32 painting masks for the Swordfish Mk.I and Mk.II for the glazing and the wheels. This is not a model but a painting accessory; the model itself is obtained separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of shaped Eduard painting masks in 1:32 scale for the model of the British Fairey Swordfish carrier biplane in the Mk.I and Mk.II versions. The masks are cut from kabuki tape and mask the cabin glazing, the windscreens and usually the tires as well. It is a painting accessory, not a kit; the aircraft model itself is not included and is obtained separately.
The Fairey Swordfish was a British carrier-borne torpedo and reconnaissance biplane with open crew positions, nicknamed the Stringbag. Although it looked obsolete, it served successfully throughout the Second World War, among other things in the attack on the Italian fleet at Taranto and in the action against the battleship Bismarck. The Mk.II version had a strengthened lower wing for carrying unguided rockets.
Transfer the masks onto degreased surfaces and seat them on the windscreens and the glazed features. On a biplane, take care that the tape does not reach into the struts and bracing. Spray the paint thinned in fine coats and peel the masks off while the finish is fresh.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
