Eduard T-6 Texan 1:32 is a set of painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard for accurate masking of the glazing and the clear parts of a model of the American T-6 Texan trainer in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:32 scale for the American North American T-6 Texan trainer. The masks in a fine masking material (kabuki paper) follow the shape of the frames of the long tandem canopy exactly. They are stuck onto the model, sprayed over with paint and taken off once dry. This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a model in its own right: the kit has to be obtained separately.
The North American T-6 Texan was an American two-seat advanced trainer on which whole generations of fighter pilots were trained during the Second World War and afterwards. It was powered by a radial engine and had a tandem cockpit arrangement with a long, densely framed canopy. The type was used in many countries and served in a number of them for decades. The complicated canopy makes masking the frames laborious.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model of the aircraft. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
