This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The set contains photo-etched steel seat belts for the seat of the American Douglas TBD-1 Devastator carrier-based torpedo aircraft in 1:32 scale. Eduard's STEEL line is of thin steel sheet with a realistic color print, thanks to which the belts look more faithful than soft plastic and will take fine shaping into natural folds.
The color-printed belts are self-adhesive, so varnishing is unnecessary and so is painting them. You only take them out of the fret, shape them and stick them into the seat. The result is a detail that in the large 1:32 scale markedly brings the interior of the cabin to life.
Separate the belts carefully from the fret and shape the bends with tweezers. Thanks to the natural stiffness of steel, photo-etched steel belts can be left to hang realistically over the edge of the seat. If you want to unify the print, you can go over it at the end with a matte transparent varnish.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
