About product

Royal Air Force seat belts, Second World War, 1:32 (Eduard, photo-etched)

A photo-etched set of seat belts from the Czech maker Eduard, made in the manner of the Royal Air Force (RAF) of the Second World War period, in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory made of photo-etched sheet for pilot's seats, not an airplane model.

What the set is for

It replaces the simplified or missing belts on the seats of a plastic model. The thin photo-etched belts with the relief of the buckles will give the interior a realistic look and suit open cabins as well, where the details are clearly visible.

Usage tips

Separate the belts carefully, form them into a natural drape and fix them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). If the parts are not pre-colored, apply a primer and paint them according to the period pattern of the belts.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers finishing the interior of RAF aircraft in 1:32 scale
  • Anyone after realistic cockpits
  • Modelers with experience of etching

This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
