Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is intended for a plastic model of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-3 fighter. It is not a kit or a standalone model but a set of precisely shaped masks of thin yellow kabuki masking tape. The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp transitions of color on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without the lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Yakovlev Yak-3 is a Soviet light fighter of the end of the Second World War. It excelled in low weight, small dimensions and splendid handling, thanks to which it was among the most agile fighters of its day, above all in combat at low and medium altitude. Soviet pilots valued it for being easy to fly and reliable.
Degrease the glazing of the canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks from the backing and lay them on the frame of the windscreen as well as the sliding part of the canopy, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint is dry, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle, so that the fresh coat is not damaged.
The package holds masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
