1:48 Polikarpov I-16 Type 24 - paint mask

A self-adhesive paint mask for the Soviet Polikarpov I-16 Type 24 fighter in 1:48 scale from Peewit. It serves to spray the glazing and the areas around it cleanly and accurately, without brushwork by hand and without paint running where it should not.

Use

  • Lift the individual pieces of the mask off the sheet and stick them exactly onto the areas they are meant for.
  • The covered areas stay clean; spray the rest with an airbrush or a brush.
  • Once the paint has dried, remove the mask carefully.
  • It gives crisp edges and a clean transition between colors.
