A universal sheet of water-slide decals intended for detailing aircraft models. It is not tied to one type of aircraft nor to one kit: it contains walkway and demarcation lines, corner marks and technical stenciling in red, black and white, and that in a British as well as a German language form. According to the name the sheet is prepared for use in several scales, specifically 1:32, 1:48 and 1:72.
Real aircraft have walkway zones marked out on the wings and fuselage, the boundaries of access panels and a number of small operational inscriptions, such as prohibitions on touching, marks for replenishing fluids and warnings by the exits. It is precisely these details that decide whether a model looks like a machine in service or like a bare colored area. The set offers these elements together, so that they can be added even where a kit has left them out.
Long thin lines are demanding to handle, as they break or crease easily. Rather divide longer runs into shorter segments, therefore, and join them to one another; the join will not be apparent in a matte final clear coat. Under a line there has to be a smooth glossy base. Try the run of a line across engraved panels and edges out dry beforehand, because once soaked you will not be able to move a decal as freely. Seat small inscriptions with flat-jawed tweezers and fine-tune them with a brush and water, not with your fingers.
The package contains decals only. The kit, paints and clear coats are not part of it.
