The name carries the designation SMALL, with which the manufacturer tells this set apart from the BIG variant offered alongside it, so check before ordering which of the two you need. The newer generation of the Boeing 737 became not only the backbone of airline fleets but also the basis for several military machines. The C-40A serves the US Navy as a transport aircraft for people and freight, the P-8A Poseidon carries out maritime patrol and anti-submarine duties and the E-7A Wedgetail carries the large antenna of an airborne early warning and air battle management system. All of them share a common airframe, but they differ markedly in equipment and in finishes, from glossy civil white through gray naval shades to low-visibility forms. In 1:72 scale what comes out are really large models, and every imperfection in the spraying shows well on them.
Degrease the base before masking and get the dust off it; on glossy finishes even a small speck of dirt gives itself away. Work in sections and let the paint go off between coats. Spray perpendicular to the edge of the mask and in thin coats; mist laid on at an angle gets under the edge far more easily.
