This set holds self-adhesive holographic films which on a finished model imitate the characteristic colored gleam of the glass of the sights, periscopes and sensors of a modern main battle tank. It is not a kit or a paint but a finishing accessory for raising the realism; the target kit is Tiger Model.
The films are stuck onto the areas of the optics and the vision blocks, where they replace unconvincing molded parts or painting. Thanks to the holographic structure they change shade with the angle of view, so that the optics look like real glass with an anti-reflective coating. The set is meant for a model of the French Leclerc main battle tank in 1:35 scale.
First clean and degrease the areas under the film. Cut the individual features out carefully, lift them off the backing and press them into place; make any small corrections of position while the film has not yet bonded firmly. Work with tweezers and a sharp knife.
The accessory does not hold paints or glue. It is a self-adhesive film applied dry.
