Responsibility details are not available.
The SX-Art set in 1:35 scale is prepared for the Soviet experimental tank Object 477 XM2. It is not a model of the vehicle, but an accessory that protects during painting the areas meant to stay without a coat.
Object 477 is the designation of a Soviet development program for a future tank, worked on in the 1980s at the Kharkiv design bureau. The machine was to have a low silhouette, the crew lowered into the hull and a large-caliber main weapon in an unmanned turret with an autoloader. The program ended together with the Soviet Union and got no further than prototypes and development variants, so more estimates than confirmed figures circulate about the individual versions. Today the program is known mainly from photographs of test vehicles and from period drawings; comprehensive technical data are not public.
With machines that never received a combat finish you have a free hand: both the uniform green of a test range and a modern pattern after the newer Russian tanks suggest themselves. Whatever you choose, the areas under the mask will stay clean only if you spray the paint in thin coats. Lift it off before weathering, so that dust and pigment do not settle on its edge.
