The second damaged variant of the 200 liter drum is supplied ten pieces to a package. It is made for scenes in 1:43 scale and complements the same line from which the version with an intact body also comes.
A damaged drum usually means that whatever was inside it ended up outside. This possibility is worth using, because a patch on the ground does more for the atmosphere than another model. Oil leaves a glossy dark area with a sharp edge, fuel more of a lighter rainbow cast, water a puddle following the unevenness of the terrain. Credibility rests on the patch leading away from the drum, not around it, and on its respecting the slope of the base.
First finish the terrain including the dust, then seat the drums, and only at the end work with the liquids. Apply a glossy pouring varnish in thin layers and let each one dry, otherwise a puddle with bubbles arises. On the body of the drum suggest a run from top to bottom with one stroke, never in both directions. The surrounding dust around a wet spot darkens, which is a detail viewers notice even when they do not know why.
