It holds turned brass barrels for the .50 caliber (12.7 mm) Browning wing machine guns with drilled cooling jackets and a turned pitot tube. The late form has cooling holes of a round shape and the set offers two variants. The large scale lets the fine metal detail come out fully.
The Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat was a carrier fighter of the US Navy from the beginning of the Second World War. The late machines can be told, among other things, by the round cooling holes in the jackets of the machine gun barrels.
