The 2S25 Sprut-SD is a Russian airborne, fully amphibious tracked vehicle armed with a 125 mm smoothbore gun with an autoloader, which can also fire anti-tank guided missiles. It builds on elements of the running gear of airborne vehicles and has adjustable ground clearance thanks to hydropneumatic suspension. In the water it is driven by two waterjets and it can be dropped by parachute with its crew aboard. It serves as the fire support of airborne units that need light vehicles with heavy firepower.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull before you close up the upper armor. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Modern Russian vehicles carry single-color as well as multicolor camouflage: after spraying the paint, pick out the details with a wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments, especially on the tracks and the fenders.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
