The Friulmodel track set for the 2S7 Pion is a replacement running-gear accessory for a 1:35 model of the Soviet self-propelled gun, not a kit of the vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory for modelers, not a kit. According to the name, this set of Friulmodel replacement tracks in 1:35 scale is intended for the Soviet 2S7 Pion heavy self-propelled gun. It replaces the tracks supplied in the plastic kit and goes on at the point when the running gear of the vehicle is finished and dry-fitted.
The 2S7 Pion was a large-caliber Soviet self-propelled gun introduced in the second half of the 1970s. It amounted to an exceptionally long gun barrel carried on the open hull of a heavy tracked chassis, which took the crew along on the move and braced itself on a folding recoil spade at the rear before firing. The machine was among the heaviest artillery pieces of its day and was meant to reach targets deep behind the front line. The later modernized version carries the designation 2S7M. Because the whole combination is so long and heavy, the running gear on the model is long and clearly visible, so any inaccuracy shows on it.
Lead the track on only once the road wheels are finished and checked. Make sure the drive sprocket and the idler lie in one plane with the wheels, because on long running gear a deviation shows more than on a short tank. Degrease the surface before painting. Keep the green finish of Soviet vehicles on the subdued side, build dust and soil up in layers from the bottom upward and lightly polish the running surfaces of the track at the end. The model shows to good effect on a base with rutted tracks that make the weight of the machine clear.
