Responsibility details are not available.
This 1:35 scale kit from UM represents the Russian Model 1902 field gun in its late form. The word three in the original designation refers to the caliber of three inches, that is 76.2 mm. It is an injection-molded plastic model to be assembled and painted. The kit allows the gun to be built with all the characteristic features of the carriage, the barrel and the shield.
The 76.2 mm Model 1902 field gun was the mainstay of Russian army artillery at the start of the twentieth century. It proved itself with performance comparable to the French and German guns of around 75 mm caliber of the same period. It was used in the First World War, in the civil war and in the interwar conflicts, and in modernized versions it reached even the early phase of the Second World War. It also served the armies of the successor states, Poland and Finland among them.
Pay attention to the fine parts of the carriage and the shield, and work with liquid cement for plastic and a sharp knife. Apply a primer before painting and spray the shades with an airbrush. Washes and pigments suit the weathering and the traces of use, and the gun can be set into a diorama with a crew.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
