This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Riich Models represents the German 3.7 cm PaK 36 light anti-tank gun. The model is built from plastic parts and is meant to be glued together and painted; it works on its own and as an addition to a diorama.
The 3.7 cm PaK 36 was the standard German anti-tank gun at the start of the Second World War. A light weapon that was easy to move, with split trail legs, it suited quick deployment by infantry. Against heavily armored tanks, however, the caliber soon stopped being enough, and it earned a nickname that said everything about its limited effect; stronger guns gradually replaced it.
Join the fine parts of the barrel, the shield and the carriage with thin cement for plastic and work with a sharp knife. Apply a base coat of primer before painting. Metal surfaces and wear are picked out with a dry brush and with washes; the surrounding terrain is built up with pigments. The gun looks good with a crew and with accessories in a diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
